What is 4TFM?

 

Hi again, so as I said in my first blog, I am a new instructor for 4th Trimester Fitness Method and I am so excited about it. 😊 4th Trimester Fitness Method is all about helping empower women and strengthening cores through communities. (That is one of our mottos).

I will be offering three different classes, Birth Ball Basics™️, Postpartum Recovery®️ Fitness and Pelvic Floor Core and More™️. These are all seriously AMAZING classes and I can’t wait to teach them. Birth Ball Basics™️ is a class for all the pregnant women. We utilize a birth ball or peanut ball during this class and show you how to safely and effectively use these during pregnancy and labor. We discuss fetal position and various movement planes and positions that can help during labor.

Postpartum Recovery®️ Fitness is a 6-week class series for mamas that just had babies. Moms can bring their new bundles of joy with them (or leave them home with the grandparents), 😊 get out of the house and get in some gentle and safe exercises. This is not a kick your butt fitness class! We discuss various topics including breastfeeding, bottle feeding, challenges that moms may face and different tips and tricks throughout the 6 weeks.

Pelvic Floor Core and More™️ is for ANY women at ANY age. You do not have to be a mom to come to this class. The goals of this class are to correct and strengthen our posture, strengthen our pelvic floor and core, gain functional strength and implement strategies to improve the effects of Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. We discuss diastasis recti, activating the pelvic floor and transverse abdominal muscles, and do safe and effective exercises.  

I honestly am so blessed to be an instructor and get the opportunity to help and support women. I love empowering women and what better way then to be an instructor and teach them ways to connect with their body better.
